What Are Plantae?

It consists of multi cellular eukaryotic plants. Non photosynthetic plants, algae are also included. They have indefinite growth with external organs. Most of them have autotrophic mode of nutrition and are known as producers as their ability to make their own food (photosynthesis). Some plants they rely on other ways (insects or small animals) for their nutrition as they cannot make their own food (heterotrophic). These are known as Insectivorous Plants. Reproduction can be sexual or asexual.
