What will be the effect of temperature on reaction rate?

Effect of temperature on reaction rate:
Temperature has marked effect on the rate of reaction. For most of the reactions the rates of reaction becomes nearly double or even more for 100 rise of temperature. The effect of temperature is usually expressed in terms of temperature coefficient which is defined by the equation:

Temperature coefficient (n) = [Rate constant at T + 100 (308 K)] divided by [Rate constant at T0 (298 K)]

For most of the reactions 2 < n < 3
