Explain the periplaneta Americana of arthropoda which belongs to non chordate phyla?

The periplaneta Americana is also known as cockroach. They are found in dark and damp places. They occur in kitchens, restaurants, underground drains, ships and wagons etc. They are nocturnal and omnivorous. They also show cannibalism and are cursorial. They are oviparous and have separate male and female sexes and show sexual dimorphism. Their young forms resemble the adult form in most of the factors. But they differ in size, wings, color and in their sexual maturity. The young forms show ecdysis. Their head is directed downwards and is known as hypognathus. Their head is of biting and chewing type. The thorax has 4 spiracles which are used to exchange gases. The abdomen has couple of anus, genital aperture and 16 spiracles. There is a lot of difference between the male and female cockroach. The female cockroach has short and broad abdomen with no anal styles. They have brood pouch with reduce antennae while, the male cockroach has long and narrow abdomen. They also have a pair of anal styles. They have no brood pouch and have larger antennae. The cockroach destroys cloth, paper and food articles. They produce a foul smell in the kitchen and are also eaten in few countries of the world.
