The holothuria is also known as the sea cucumber. It occurs in the shallow part of sea. It respires through cloacae. It feeds on plankton and debris. It has a couple of respiratory trees which open into rectum. The cloacae contracts which leads to the opening of anus. The rectum contracts and forces the water out. This follows the opening of anus. Their body is elongated with the mouth and anus. They are present on the opposite end. Their mouth is present on the anterior side and has tentacles. They help to push the food particles in the mouth. They have a leathery body wall which has ambulacral areas with tube feet. They have no spines and pedicellariae. Their madreporite is internal.
