They are the evergreen shrub forest and have broad leaves. The leaves are hard and thick. They contain small tress and the shrubs which consist of the resins. They are resistant to fires. In dry summers the bush fires are very common. The surrounding oceans give the humid airs which keeps the temperature moderate. The rainfall occurs during winter. The flora and fauna can adjust according to the drought conditions. The plants found in this area are the manzita, sage, oak, eucalyptus etc. The eucalyptus occurs in Australia. The animals included are the rabbits, snakes, lizards, rabbits and tiger etc.
