Explain the ecological pyramid of biomass in the ecosystem?

The organic matter present in an organism denotes to the biomass. It can be fresh or dry weight. It is also presented in a graph form which denotes the biomass present in per unit area at various trophic levels. It deals with multiple trophic levels with producers forming the base and the top carnivore occurs at the tip. It is more realistic as it takes into account the size of an individual. The mouse, rabbit, deer and goat are herbivorous. They can support a fewer number of deer and elephants. Nearly, around one tenth of the biomass is used to provide heat and overcome the entropy. It is transferred from the lower trophic levels and performs various body roles. So, one can say around 1000 kilogram of grass plants can support 100 kilogram of rabbit which are primary consumer. These can support the secondary carnivore which is the fox. The 10 kilogram of fox can support 1 kilogram of lion. They are the top carnivore. So, the cost of production of meat from animals is much higher as compared to the plants. The agriculture production of India is almost half of that of Russia but the population of Russia is almost half of that India. There is a still import of food grains from Russia but in India they are abundant as in our country most of the people are vegetarian. They are not dependent on the animal diet. The people in Russia are non vegetarians and are dependent on the animal diet. Their pyramid is upright in shape which means that the base is larger in size and it decreases as we move upwards. It occurs in the land animals. They can be inverted or spindle shape in the aquatic animals. Their biomass depends upon the reproductive potential and the age of members. The total biomass is calculated with respect to per unit time.
